CHARLES CITY, Iowa – A North Iowa man has been sentenced for stealing a vehicle from a home in Nora Springs.
Christopher Michael Winters, 38 of Mason City, pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary. Law enforcement says he of illegally entering a home in the 1500 block of Foothill Avenue on January 9 and stole and SUV while the resident of the home was sleeping.
Winters has been sentenced to three to five years of supervised probation and must complete all recommended substance abuse treatment.
